It's politically incorrect for anyone to say what is true because someone might get offended. An example is abortion.

I am sick and tired of all this "polically correctness" crap. It's time to tell it like it is.

I think what a great majority of folks don't realize is that the original political correctness movement was not concerned with political debates but rather on referring to people in ways that reinforced their own truths with regard to their individuality and background. It was an effort to help people recognize, for example, why a black or African-American person might not want to be referred to as a "*****" or "colored", why a woman wouldn't want to be called a "girl" or why a gay man doesn't want to be called a "fag". It was the more cynical among us who decided this equated to thoughtcrime or mind control and they endeavored to destroy the movement by misrepresenting it and opening it up to a ludicrous conclusion. That said, a concept such as abortion was never meant to be included in the realm of political correctness; however, following the extension of logic, it's difficult to ascertain just what "truth" may exist between people discussing such a topic. There are some who will advance the observed truth of science when speaking about a topic like this, while others will speak from the gut or heart with respect to the issue. The key here is to engage in conversation or debate while accepting the fact that the other side holds to a truth that may or may not be factual but can be dismissed while basically respecting the other person. That is, if the other person allows themselves to be respected and doesn't just hold their hands over their ears screaming "LA LA LA" during the whole discourse.

Not only is it a form of dictatorship and censorship it is a form of mind control. When you have to watch what you say in order to avoid being ridiculed and ostracized then you also have to watch what you think. Eventually your thinking comes around to the socially accepted norm.
