I have window ventilation grids which are now too small to meet British Gas regulations. I do not know where to buy the metal grids (Edinburgh) necessary to place over the required measurements.

Bell Donaldson Steele, Westfield Street EH11 337-6303 should have something suitable, or any plumbing /heating merchant.

Also better than a plain grille, --

B&Q or any large diy store, or any place that sells fires and boilers. Ask for a floor vent (or wall) you can buy both floor vents(easy to fit just cut a hole in the floor) and wall vent (hard to fit needs a special core drill to go through the wall) they are normally brass in looks. you can also get carbon testers its a small card and changes colour if there is any carbon in the air, so you can see there is any thing wronge.
