I'd like to know what to expect weather wise and also some sightseeing tips would be really appreciated

What you need is one sweater or wind breaker as extra. the weather there is getting cool now. City tour is fun...according to my experienced. Can't give you more idea for sightseeing since you did not mentioned about the duration of your stay in Helsinki (out of two day business trip). People are very nice there. Eat a lot of smoke salmon for me please.

well, expect rain and more rain, they are just starting to come into winter. A nice trench coat, business clothes of course, a nice winter hat, an umbrella and your essentials. also, note:Buy your alcohol at the wonderfully named state ALKO, just saves money,and you can also get your rental car fro Vantaa airport. Make sure you exchange there in helsinki, because a lot of places, bars, restaurants rarely take travelers cheques. There is a wonderful boat Salvija if i remember correctly that is a nice thing to do, sometimes referred to as the "party" boat, but is is nice class of people to mingle with. Other than that, you'll find it a wonderful place to see, if you haven't been there yet, shops, great scandinavian dining and accomdations, enjoy your trip!
