The Internet is just another tool of communication and reflects the good and bad side of the human race as it's us who provide the content and dictate the content. I would hope that, in time, it would break down barriers and allow greater equality between people of the world though at the moment it just seems to be putting a magnifying glass over everybodys differences and grouping people into exclusive cliques (facebook & beautiful people being two examples).

Not as good as it used to be I only spend 14 hours a day on it now.... lol I used to play games before I got on the net. Then I started with email and answers and web design. Then blogspot. I tried Myspace and Bebo. Photos on Ringo and Photobucket. Do my Internet banking, shopping, research, buy stocks on wall street with $4,000,000 in virtual cash. Scam MP3's from my friends. Chat to people in just about every country you can think of. I'm famous in Latvia or Infamous or was it Slovakia or Slovenia - somewhere around there.... But I like to play with my web site now. I hope to go bigger, better and improve my skills a bit in the new year - may even give space away to people and get a amateur web master community going for people who are a bit clueless but try hard like me! lol But it could be worse - at least I use two hands to type and not one finger! Take a look at my web site and tell me what you think - leave a note in the guest book or send an email - the email address is on every page. The links at the top are to other pages on the site. The links at the bottom to other sites. My stuff on blogspot, newsvine and soulcast. My email address and if you use Internet Explorer you will even get background music - it won't work in Firefox.... Click a few adverts and if any don't work email me and tell me what page they are on!

The internet exists in a moral vacum, as it is a tool for accessing information. It is the end user that decides whether to use those tools for good or 'evil'.
Here are two examples:
1)If you download an illegal mp3 you are technically breaking the law and depriving the artist of royalties.
2)if you download a porn image of a pay-per-view website you have done nothing wrong legally.
Morally both are dubious, but it is up to the end user to square it with their conscience as to whether it is 'good' or 'bad'. Overall the plus points of the internet outwiegh the bad points for me, and I personally love the whole concept.
