nothingness is the absence of something. when something isn't there where it's supposed to be, "nothing" fills that space. like indifference. if you don't feel anything for a person. it is almost like a feeling, so it can not breed or eat anything else. either there is something, or there is nothing.

Nothing is the absence of anything. Because there is something, there is not nothing. What is something has to come from something originally. If there is a creator, nothing is likely the only thing that is impossible, so we don't have to worry about nothing. If there is not a creator, then there is still nothing to worry about.

Whether you realize this or not, you statement is contradictory. How can nothing, or non-existence or a state of oblivion do anything? If one sits in an empty space, nothing is a non entity, it has no cause, no ending, so it is incapable of any actions or deeds.
