To believe that every bad situation will have something positive come out it...That's idiocy in itself. Optimism is a great tool to have in life and it should be embraced but it's also important not to become so optimistic that you no longer see a situation for what it truly is. To become blinded by optimism is in itself idiocy. You need both positivity and negativity in your life to keep things balanced but also to only believe in the good (bright) side of things you are also opening yourself up to fall victim to those who prey on people just like this.

Optimism appears to lead to better results and happiness. Giving too much consideration to all the things that can go wrong mostly leads to stagnation and indecision. I do know a man however, who thinks there's always a partly filled bottle, although there may be left a few molecules water inside! So optimism is good, but within reason.

I have to be honest, optimism is the key to happiness. I'm an extremely negative person- I never express my negativity, I keep it locked up inside. Before I know it, one negative thought leads to another, and I've dug myself into a huge hole.

Definitely the height of optimism.

Is it worthy to look at a stopped clock all the time! Then it is idiocy.

to me it seems a fools optimism, it show twice correct time but calculate how much wrong time it shows in a day. this cannot be optimism and better should not be compared with half filled glass.

there is one % chance that the fire will not burn you, should you be optimistic that the fire will not burn you and put your hand in it.

i would love to be an optimist but I'm afraid I'm a realist ..... it might show the correct time twice a day but that no good the rest of the time........ idiocy (from the eternal pessimist)

it is the height of optimism. even if its in death one will realize how important life is in some way or was, so may not be something you can invest in but a realization of what has already been invested

10 minutes incorrect clock because then it really is a lot less complicated to decide what time it really is, only upload (or subtract) ten minutes and BAM you've the right time :) the different one receives to be HOURS off at some factors so as it truly is only worse
