At 9 or 10 bucks at the box office and 20 bucks at the snack bar?? I'd say the affect is,....fitting.

Effect 1: You don't waist a ton of cash buying lame Cd's that only have 1 or 2 good tracks. And lame artists that publish those Cd's are forced to tour and/or fail. Effect 2: You save money. Effect 3: Movie gross is $7 million instead of $10 million.....darn!

it loses the money & royalities to the entertainment industry....
so every time someone downloads a song or movie...money is being flushed down the toilet...
who would even do this sort of malacious acts.....
