Get friends and other websites to publish links to your site elsewhere on the web utilizing your key words.
You need a "robots.txt" file on the server.
You need to optimize these two lines on every page for the search engines:
1) meta name="keywords"
2) meta name="description"
Research SEO or search engine optimization and apply what you learn.

Check out a program called "active webtraffic" it allows you to submit to thousands of locations to include yahoo, google and msn and thousands of FFAs (free for alls). I use it to submit my sites and i charge to do others sites, make sure you use a false reply email or you will get hundreds of reply emails.

yahoo and google have advertising programs, where it has a better chance of showing up when you do a search and stuff. check it out.
