just recently i was sent a request to add somone on to my contact list so i said yes by mistake i have sent request for contact details but got no reply could it be a virus of some kind?? contact name is ymsg.invisible......... i wont reveal any more details just incase i get in to trouble but it ends in the number 25 as the contacts name

If you don't know the person and they won't send you contact details then just delete them and put them on your ignore list. Caution! Before deleting them, write down their name so you don't loose their name before putting them on your ignore list.

It could be a mistake in the other person trying to find someone else similar to your screen name. It is possible that they have ignored you or blocked you.
Overall, it shouldn't be something too big to worry about. If this person who was added ends up contacting you, you can then decide to keep the contact on or block them. It's not like you know the person yet ;)

I just delete if I don't know who it is.You could do a virus check before you open it

just block and delete the contact.

no you add someone with out asking them that is not a virus & if they dont reply it meens they have you on ignore
