It has been calculated that approximately 400,000 engineers and scientists were involved in the landing a man on the moon, from the contractors, subcontractors of all the thousand of parts that made the space modules to the hundreds of NASA technicians. To think that all of them were in on the secret is bordering on lunacy...
Do you know how few people were involved in the Watergate and Enron cases...a handful, and the secret slipped out. To even think that our govt. is competent enough to pull off the largest scam in history is laughable.
If you believe the conspiracy theorists, then maybe you believe FDR bombed Pearl Harbor, aliens crashed at Roswell, the Mafia took out JFK and Bush brought down the Twin Towers.

I don't think anyone really knows for sure. Everyone says yes, but there is a conspiracy theory floating around that it was staged in the Nevada desert somewhere because the technology wasn't advanced enough. I don't know a whole lot about the theory, but I'm sure you could google it and find out about it for yourself.
