A Notepad icon keeps appearing on my desktop talking about an unexpected exception that has been detected in native code outside the VM. It's followed by a list of files...

I searched it in Yahoo Answers and found someone with the exact same problem. (The list of files was the same and everything.) The people told her it was the West Coast Nile Virus and to call Microsoft. I keep Googling that and getting nothing.

Can some please explain what this virus is, what it does, or what I should do.

Thank you so much!

I have run Symantec Virus Protection, Ad-Aware and Windows Defender and they all come back clean.

I did a microsoft, from what I found, it is a blaster worm. I guess that they reccomend downloading and using their software to get rid of it. Or, maybe you can try:http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/free/ it takes awhile to scan, but VERY thourough. Update it first.

whew, this virus is quite a mess to find. Basically since there is an actual virus with the same name. And both West Coast and Nile is a name place, googling this is particularly difficult. Please though, give us further information. What list of files shows up, we should Google items from this list instead.
