for oprah, money is no object. but if you wanted to take a seven-day cross country (seven stops in seven days along the way) trip from the pacific to the atlantic, which route(s) would you take? which sites or cities would be 'must-sees' on your itinerary? who would you take with you?

for non-americans, please pick some destinations in YOUR part of the world!

god bless america.

I love this question! I am on the East Coast, so I would head through upstate New York, first stopping in Columbus, Ohio, because I've never been there and heard it's a great city. I would go to Chicago (again, never been there) next. I would make my way across the Northern U.S., ending up in Seattle. I would stop in Montana and at Yellowstone along the way. I would stop in Indianapolis and Iowa, too. I would take my personal belongings with me and buy lots of souvenirs and art from each place, exploring the local cuisine and culture and seeing all the tourist sites as well. This would be a dream come true. I don't know why zillionaires like Oprah waste all their time working when they could be out seeing the world and doing something more meaningful.

That's not a lot of time....7 stops in 7 days. I'd be exhausted.

I'd stop in (not in any order)....

Chicago (I like it there)
Yellow Stone National Park
Grand Canyon
Wyoming (any ski resort)
San Francisco (visit family)
Las Vagas (I like it there)
Seattle

I travel a lot.....but very seldom in the States.

***Oprah drove across the USA this summer.

Lets see....I would want to fly from OKC to NYC then head to Europe. I went there when I was 10. I would like to go to some places I have never got to see. First off would be Scottland(Start with the Highlands down to Edinburgh). Then to Ireland(Belfast then Dublin), then on down to Wales. Then past Italy(since I have already been there), straight to Spain(Madrid) and Portugal(Lisbon). All on a backpack trip camping in tents a long the way. I would bring my boyfriend. This is our honeymoon dream vacation. I know this wouldn't work in 7 days if I backpacked through Europe, but hey it is a dream without limits on the cizash$!!!!
