Pea soup algae is common in ponds because they get lots of sunlight and with goldies present, there are nutrients available for it to grow well.

First, don't dump chemicals in your pond as suggested by another poster here. They can be toxic for fish.

Adding a UV unit to your filtration system will clear suspended algae in a few days. Adding plants to compete with the algae and provide shade should also help.

50% partial water changes are fine, but be sure to dechlorinate if your water has chorine in it and try not to cause the temperature to swing radically.

You do know you're way overstocked?
Your pond only holds around 100 US gallons and the rule of thumb is 1 fancy goldfish per 10 gallons or 1 common goldfish per 15 gallons. If you lose the algae, your water may start getting toxic from ammonia if the biofilter can't handle the fish load.

Yes, I would think it is green algae as well. Water changes on a regular basis (25-50%). There is also a product called "P Clear" which is used to treat green algae but from personal experience, it hasn't worked for me and you would need a lot. Once I stopped treatments is when it cleared up. I would stick to the water changes regularly and see how that goes first.

You don't want to change more then 10% daily, or 25% weekly. You also must use aged water or the chlorine will kill your fish. Using barley balls or mats is the most effective means of keeping water clean, and they will work in a pond for up to three years.

the problem is too much sunlight, put a canopy over your pond and the algae will die, add more plants, cover the water surface 75% with waterlilies
every time you change the water it encourages the algae to grow more
