I have chunky calfs and disproportionately slim ankles and am desperate for some decent knee length boots! Does anyone know which shops make wide fit boots in the UK that you can recommend?

Try this website, they have a good range of styles and colours and they come in different measurements to fit your calves.

Evans is a good source, as is some of the online catalogues that specialise in larger sizes like Simply Be, Fifty Plus, Kaliedscope.

Another alternative is a pair of those fabric boots that are stretchy. Got a pair last year and they are great.

Good Luck.

Evans is good for wide fitting boots but duoboots.com has the best fashion boots.
