Is it possible to get your self connected to the Internet with a something similar to a program for example the router is now a program on your computer but still has the same effect as a normal router. But not get connected trough the phone line or satilite.

Well it wont be the internet, but you could setup your own web server and serve up your own content and or saved pages.

The short answer is no. The internet relies upon requests for information and responses containing information. You cannot get responses from the internet without some type of connection to it.

Can you connect to the internet but without actually connecting to the internet? No, of course you can't, what a bizarre question. How do you think this would even work? That your computer would just suck web pages out of thin air?
