I am so mad that Scarlett Johannson (sp) was named Sexiest Woman Alive. She is very pretty and has nice features, but u have to agree that there are many more actresses, (and regular ppl), that are prettier than her. And then there's that girl from the Czech Republic. I cannot believe that SHE won Miss World. She was not nearly as pretty as half the other contestants. I know that contest isn't ALL about looks, but puh-lease! This is just my opinion, though. I'm just interested in what everyone else thinks. I want to hear everyone's opinions, whether you agree with me or not. So thanks in advance for all answers and have a great day, people!!!

There is more to what is going on, vs what you see. A LOT of the decisions are made by how much butt-kissing is done by the people competiting. A good example of this is when Governor Schwarznegger was a competitive bodybuilder. There were a LOT more guys better looking than him, but watch him pose. He talks to the judges, blows kisses at the audience, smiles at everyone, shakes every one's hands, etc, etc. The other guys; they stood on the stage looking pissed and frowning!
And guess who won? Again and again. He is still winning. Sugar brings more flies than vinegar.

The problem with naming someone sexiest woman alive is that they are not considering each and every woman who is alive. They are just naming a known celebrity. Scarlett is gorgeous, talented and has a certain something about her personality that makes her alluring. She is a fine choice, given the parameters. Please fret about something that is of actual importance in this world.

Yes, as you said, it's a matter of opinion. One person's idea of beauty is another person's idea of nothing special. It is up to the judges. And what difference does it make anyway?
Spend less time on superficial stuff like this and more on what affects out lives like our government, our schools, and our neighborhood.
