No John you are not. Democracy is for the people and by the people. Not just a a hand full of people telling the others what they should do and how they should feel. Democracy should look out for the people in ones own country, not the whole world. It should not try to take over the world. It should not export the jobs of the people that it is intended to care for either. You should be looking after American interests, leading by example. America should be leading by example. Changing the world this way. Not changing it by sacrificing our way of life and our people. Keep jobs here, keep industry here. The hell with NAFTA. The people that you Democrats are helping do not give a damn about The USA!

No! Some people just have a liberal philosophy--not a problem. But! As there is "Far" left, and 'Far" right (which are too extreme) I feel the "Far" left take advantage of the freedoms inherent in US citizenship. IE: A minority can have too much influence which goes contrary to what a majority would wish, simply because they have "Rights". Hitlers Nazi party was in the minority.
As the "squeeky wheel get the grease", the press, in order to sell papers ( think of the old adage "Man bites dog") overemphesize quirky-liberal goings-on because they are attention grabbing and will sell papers. Who wants to read that things were quiet and normal today?
Extreme liberal ideas, if shouted loud and long enough and heavily reported in the news take on the aura of wide exceptance and if politicians think espousing these ideas will get them the votes to be elected..........well, you fill in the blanks.

liberals are not even apart of the government any more, the rebulicans have taken over the government and sentate and house at that. there is no other veiw other than a rebulican veiw. so to ask if your doing a good job running democracy the answer would be no. But only based on the fact that you are not involved in democracy. Show me where your have influced a republican based goverment and then maybe i will be able to see where democracy has helped. but as far as im concerned, there is no democracy because it is a one sided veiw.

Oooh, good one. Was it worth the 10 points?

Who would know? In case you weren't aware, which wouldn't surprise me, the GOP controls the entire government right now. So al the erosions of our democracy which HAVE occured in the last few years are part of the "good job" Republicans are doing. Of course, come November, that's going to change.

No, I rather think the Democrats and Republicans are responsible. Neither can be considered liberal these days..

Things to do today:

1) Post something stupid on an anonymous internet forum in hopes of upsetting total strangers.
2) Nothing.

Your life must be very fulfilling.

George Bush is doing a good enough job of that on his own.

I voted for Bush and think its one of the biggest mistakes of my life...sure should've voted for you but I didn't think changing the change of command in the middle of a war was the right thing to do. I sure think differently now. We are in a big mess and need to get the HELL out of Iraq and let those people do what they've done to themselves for thousands of years. We have our own domestic problems to deal with rather than trying to be everybodys big brother. No wonder why everyone hates the United States so much.
