Of course, yes, eats up our worries - just pray sincerely and find out for yourself.

Eating may not be the right term but anything that expends energy (IE: converts matter into energy) has to replace it or it will eventually fade to nothing. That might be too simplistic considering some (or most) peoples concept of God. If God is really this magical, mysterious entity that can do anything at will, then I suppose He (I use the word He liberally) would have no reason to eat unless that is what He wanted to do. On the other hand, if everything in the universe is a part of God and He did eat, He would in essence, be eating Himself. It's a good question that I'm afraid we will never have the answer to.

I agree with Dodo's answer so far. He's got a good way of putting it but still I don't believe in God. I'm agnostic. It's amazing that we pull the wool over our eyes regarding the blinding brilliance of the universe and the planet we live on, the history. We are no different from children, playing with things and curious about things we do not understand. Sometimes we are blind to reason and throw tantrums but still we evolve. If God does exsist and he does eat then maybe he's sustained by our stuttering yet constant progression making our history... Or prehaps it's Toasties.

The Helenistic gods certainly did. They ate, drank wine, had sexual relations with themselves and other creatures who were favored ones. Plato condemned Homer for misrepresenting the gods as such vile creatures but personally I think that there should be anthropomorphic (manlike) gods as they are our own creations anyway so why make them so etheral and formidable. If your question is whether or not a true and real god exists who eats the answer would be no as there is no god although hopefully there are people out there in society who do nudge it to be more humane and expect themselves and others to be compassionate and caring

If God doesn't exist, then we don't. Your question might best be answered by qualifying what is meant by "eat". The matter we eat doesn't disappear, it is merely changed. Conservation of matter and energy are fundamental laws of physics. When we eat good food, we transform matter into energy and new matter with the engine of our bodies, and our bodies heal and grow stronger. When we love, we transform spiritual energy through the engine of emotion (note the latin root of emotion) and our spirits heal and grow stronger. Conversely, if we eat bad food we get sick, and when we hate, our spirits get weak. This is what Jesus meant when he said "I have food you do not know about" to his disciples. We have observed the truth of this in Mother Teresa's Sisters of Charity (charity=love) when at times they would go for weeks without eating because the poor they were serving also had no food - yet the sisters didn't lose an ounce of weight. It's been measured. God is spirit, so when God loves, he is eating. Because God is infinite he has an insatiable appetite. Lucky for us.

The question if God exists does he eat.? God exist and his feeding comes from spiritual feeding. if you believe in the almighty supreme being and by the teaching of the word of God he is fed by the true fact that follower believe and that he is automatically fed spiritually.

God is in all things, and because living things need sustenance, I suppose you could say God does too.

I like to think God also eats people who ask daft questions, and give irrelevant answers.

Yes, God eats people who ask questions instead of obeying churches and priests. Dogma is God's way of saying "Shut up or I'll have you for an eternal snack." So shut up with your questions and thoughts.

He does exist but He doesn't eat food, He doesn't need too, He can do anything though.

He said "If I were hungry, I would not tell you. For I own the cattle on a thousand hills". He is a living spirit and not in a fleshly physical body so he has no need to eat.
