Corset´s very uncomfortable. But women gotta suffer to look nice. We gotta wax, use heels,...

But if u can´t stand it, don´t use, because u´re gonna be worried about it and don´t enjoy your prom.

Here´s a little tip: Go to a store, try it on, and than sits, walk around with it for a little while, dance a little bit, to see if it´s gonna hurt you. If you can stand it, go for it!

Instead of a corset, you could wear those elastic-y wrap things they sell to wear around your middle.
Or even beter, since prom is far away, you could do ab workouts and improve your tummy. It's work, but it'll definitely be worth it!
Also, wear a prom dress that does a little to hide your stomache, like those babydoll dresses that are tight around your chest and then flow all the way down.
Experiment and have a great time at your prom =)

Do you mean a corset dress? I've worn a corset dress before, it's not uncomfortable, just make sure you get the right size dress.Everything should be fine. I'm sure you will look great in what ever you choose. Have fun.

Wear a ball-gown type dress. Because it's supposed to puff out near your area between your belly button and hips, people won't notice a thing when you sit down or stand up. It automatically makes you the belle of the ball anyway. ^^

Or, you could go with a cute empire dress. Note, however, that full-chested figures DO NOT work well with this type.

don't get something with stripes going across horizontally. wear something that has the cloth gathered at the stomach area. maybe try something like a flower just below the shoulder, too, as something to keep eyes off your stomach if you are self conscious.
