Yes they do in list but they do so thinking the Government is not going to needlessly send them off to die. Most would defend their country if called upon to do so. But when your invading another country for nothing, I don't think they signed up for that.. They are not mindless robots, They do think and feel as well you know

It's a funny thing. When Clinton a Demo was in the people were for going to war and that was before 9/11 and now that Bush a Republican gets in and we have 9/11 they say no! Hmmm, I was just reading in an an old Time's magazine how Clinton was debating about going to war with Iraq and even to the end of his presidency he believed there to be WMD's in Iraq. Had he gone in I bet no one would be making the fuss they are now!

What I feel about US soldiers is admiration and gratitude. Could be my fat butt on the line if I weren't old and female. I am GOP since 1994 so qualify to answer your question. Am struggling really hard to keep from becoming really anti-Islamic. So really don't have time to bash Bush like some folks. He sure is not perfect, but at least did not tuck tail and run like Clinton when Somalia incident happened. Now that was something not to feel right about. Wasn't our soldiers fault either...

I notice you didn't bother to detail any of these alleged "lies". I'm sure we all know the reason for that.......there weren't any! And yes, this Republican feels real good about how President Bush is defending our nation from its enemies whether they be terrorists abroad or people like you here at home.

Do you mean Joe Wilson's lies? Like when he said that Saddam was trying to obtain nuclear materials, then a year later Jerky Joe said he wasn't. Or like when he PURCHASED an ad in "Who's Who" identifying his bimbo wife as a CIA Agent (When is she going to do the Darva Conger thing?), then tried to blame it on Rove & Cheney?
Or do you mean like when John "I-Never-Met-A-Rich-Widow-I-Didn't-Fall-In-Love-With" Kerry threw his medals over the White House wall, or maybe he didn't but just pretended to. Or like when he accused the brave sailors he deserted in Viet Nam of numerous war crimes after nominating himself for Purple Hearts he didn't deserve?
Or maybe you mean Teddy (hic) Kennedy's abandoning a young lady to die in a car he drove off a bridge and then lying about his inebriated condition?
No, Republicans detest those sorts of lies. It's just that we're more polite about it than the Democrankies who never stop bitchin' about anything

Sure they do. The ends justify the means for them.Whats the lives of a few thousand human beings who can never be replaced compared to the billions in profits being made.

i feel lied to by john kerry - about viet nam - who so proudly testified in congress [turned out to be lies] and with the help of media was able to turn our country against the war in viet nam and America did cut and run then to the detriment of 3 million people who died as a result . so how many will die if we cut and run this time?or do only Americans count for you?i see democrats with their left wing media is up to the same old tricks.

Not all, I live in the south in a conservative and military town and many of the republicans here are upset at many of the decisions made by this administration and the military personnel down here are pissed to say the least. They feel lied to and expendable like their life means nothing because of the failed policies of this administration.

I am a Vietnam Vet and know what it is to lose a friend in combat in a useless war. But I also know that there is special spot in hell reserved for those so called Americans that sit back in their easy chairs and criticize our troops during a time of war.
