Nightmares aren't usually literal. Pay attention to the feelings that you have and figure out why you feel that way. Are you afraid that something is going to happen to her because she's with you? What makes you feel that way?

Most dream experts believe that your dreams or nightmares are your minds way of trying to sort out problems in your life. When you have a nightmare upon waking you tend to think about what you just dreamt. Try not focusing so much on what the dream was about, but instead try thinking about all that is going on in your life right now even if it seems as though all is good there is obviously something that is not so great and often what the mind does is it takes something that makes you feel good and attaches something bad to it, this ensures that it will get your attention. Your body is all about protecting and trying to heal itself so listen to your body and try to get to the bottom of this. I assure you this has nothing to do with your girlfriend getting seriously injured it does however have something to do with you personally.

weel first of all, an old Italian saying is that by dreaming of one person's death, you are actually making his/her life longer :-)

this said, dreams and nightmares are generally a way your unconscious has to filter your real life doubts / fears / joys / expectations and so forth. This is especially true for recurrent dreams.
When you turn to a psychologist to analyze your dreams, first thing he/she does is to ask you what *you* think about it, like in the spontaneous associations game, when you say the first thing that comes to your mind when thinking about a certain item, even if this seems to make no sense at all. This usually helps you untangling the dream and finding what is really upsetting you.

Nightmares fall into different types. However, if you keep getting repetitious ones, that is a sign of either a physical, social, medical or spiritual imbalance. Then again, people refer to spiritual interference (night terrors) as nightmares. Need more information. You could have unresolved conflicts. See below and post again with more information.

In waking life we encounter all sorts of situations, we go through stresses, that we often dont deal with, but instead put to the back of our minds, these stesses, if not dealt with, manifest themselves in our dreams as a way to face, deal with the emotions we feel, maybe there is something bothering you regarding your girlfriend, or yourself even, you have mentioned that you keep having these dreams...it is showing you that you have not yet dealt with a particular issue, or issues.

Dreaming of dying usually means a losing or an ending. Considering your dreams are quite scary, I'd venture to say that you're afraid of this relationship coming to an end.

They probably mean that you watch too many movies, have an over active imagination, are suffering from some other deep anxiety that you are transferring to her, or that you are obsessed with images of graphic violence. Think about that list. Weigh your own behavior carefully. If you need some support in exploring this, go get it from trained people you trust. But don't worry, this is all about you, not her.

Lay off the sugar, salts and all those beef steaks before bedtime !

Stop day dreaming and get back to that $0.05 an hour work you so willingly signed up for in that tobacconist. Pronto!

Yikes! :-S Those dreams could mean ANYTHING. They could be omens or just your imagination. Pray and try to get religious in whatever religion you practice. You might find some answers that way.
