What are you talking about when you say "would they" as though they hadn't already? Every career requires that you dress a certain way, use a certain vocabulary, express certain attitudes and have certain stamps of approval (credentials). What exactly do you think slavery is? The only ones who are free are the homeless, but that's too high a price to pay for most of us.

Mary ...if you see closer ..you'll find out we are slaves already, more subtle than the lashes in the back. You have to work until old age and then some (operative word being "have to")We live here pay check to pay check pay, if you miss a couple of days of work your budget suffers, some of us work when the rest are off, it is a non stopping game and when you get old and if you get sick your House goes to somebody else, this is the worst kind of slavery .... that you are not aware you are an slave

It would be necessary to define freedom first.
Because who is there among us that is truly free.
I'm a slave to my bills and responsibilities as they cause me to go to work when I don't want to.
They cause me to deprive myself of certain things in order to fulfill my obligations.
Those that have great financial resources are often a slave to their money as no amount is ever enough.
What exactly is freedom and does anyone truly have it??

don't know who u're talking about, but for the average US citizen - freedom is so much more important than wealth - the men and women in our military know what they're signing up for when they do it - they are a special group of people that want to defend their country - they don't do it for the money obviously

Thats what the American Gov't wants you think ( that you are free). But they are surreptitiously controlling your mind. We are already their slaves.
