Not only is it wise to wait between 1-2 years for PB, strawberries, eggs, honey, whole milk, nuts for risk of allergic reaction PB presents a choking hazard because it's so thick. I would wait until your baby is older.

Experts would agree that Peanut Butter is best left introduced after 12mo. Especially if there is a family history of allergies to nuts etc.
Personally however, I took the chance and my 10-11mo babies had some peanutty dishes here and there. My family has no history of allergies to nuts or anything, so I didn't worry.
Still be careful and use caution. Maybe you should check with you doc first...

DO NOT do this without consulting your doctor first this on on that list of food that may cause allergies before the first year if introduced to early and at that age there is little a doctor can and will want to do for your child if it does happen to have/develop an allergy

Nope you should wait until at least 1yr some advise even longer because of the severity of peanut allergies (same goes with introducing honey...its one of those things that should come later)

I'd heard you only give peanut butter, strawberries and honey to toddlers. To avoid the risk of them devloping allergies to them.

Not a good idea. Exposing children to p-nuts,tree nuts, eggs, whole milk, and other foods which tend to cause allergic reactions can cause them to be MORE allergic. You should hold off until your child is at least 12 mo. old if not longer.

from what i've been told you need to wait until they are 2 years old due to peanuts being a powerful allergen.
