2.652829375 * 10^3 kg s^-2

Just note what place value the frontmost digit has and then write down a number where this digit(here 2) is the only one on the left of the decimal point and the others in the same order but as decimals.
Now multiply by the place value given as an exponent of 10.
i.e as 2 is in the thousands the multiplication is in 1000 = 10^3

Voila! Hope this helps!

scientific notation will express the number as something less than 10, with the rest as a decimal value and indicate what the scale is.

so 2652.829375 becomes 2.652829375*10^3

my calculator expresses it in the form 2.652e3; "e" stands for "exponent".

2.652829375 * 10^3 kg/s^2

(It's somewhat difficult to "write" fractional dimensions here, but the exponent "2" goes with the "s" in the denominator.)

Some calculators have a way of expressing numbers in sci notation, on mine you do 2nd and then mode and it asks you normal, english, or sci and then if you're taking a test it makes life easier.
