I am 6 weeks pregnant and have really been suffering for the past two weeks with sickness, tiredness headaches...the lot!

Today however I am feeling really good. Still tired and will need afternoon nap but apart from that and still tender, very good day.

I do get paranoid on good days tho wondering if it is ok to feel good and if something has happened.

Does anyone else feel this way?

YES! when i stopped getting sick i got concerned. now my breasts arent as tender. i just stopped feeling pregnant. im glad to know im not the only one. lol! i was scared my hormone level was dropping. it's all pretty normal. i'm 7 weeks and 1 day with twins. so...i guess im part of the norm with the not feeling pregnant when my "signs" started to dissipate!

Sit back and enjoy the ride. You'll have good days and and bad days. Some people are sick their entire pregnancy. Some don't get sick at all.

I couldn't eat after 6 pm without getting a horrible stomach ache. That was easy to fix!

Make sure you take some child birth classes. Bradleybirth.com is a great resource. You can find local teachers there also. The more you understand what is happening to your body the better your entire experience will be.

Read "Husband Coached Childbirth" by Dr. Robert Bradley. An excellent resource. Also check out "Birthing from Within" by Pam England & Rob Horowitz.

Give your baby the very best from the very start. Get prenatal care, eat healthy, natural foods, walk at least 10 minutes a day and take a birth class. The birthing process is good for babies!

Yep if I have nausea I worry if I don't I worry, if I have light cramps (normal its the ligaments stretching for the pregnancy) I worry but if I don't have them I worry and I walk around all the time touching my breasts to make sure they are still tender, it gets a little bit better over time I am 15wks now and have become a little bit less neurotic about everything. Don't be afraid to call the dr with questions becuase everything about you and your body is changing and that's what they are there for....also I don't know if its normal for everyone but I was stressed out until I heard the heartbeat I was worried that something happened to the baby like a miscarriage and my body just didn't know it so I was stressed that the baby wouldn't have a heartbeat....and it did.

Be thankful for those good days. And paranoia seems to go hand and hand with pregnancy. Don't worry, your body, mind and soul will go through sooooo many changes for the next 32 to 34+ weeks.
I'm still waiting for the energy burst they say you get in your second trimester. And though I only slightly suffered from nausea (never to the extent of actually throwing up) I did suffer from exhaustion. Literally slept whenever I wasn't at work. And though thats a little better, I still sleep about 10 hours a night.
My mother told me just go with it and remember it will all be worth it when you feel its first movements and when that little one is born.

Never been pregnant but am married to a person who has. Morning sickness seems to be worse in the early months. It should dissapear altogether well before your confinement date.

Its normal for you to have good days. You cant control how long it takes your body to acclimate to the new hormone levels, and once it levels off you will feel great.

Dont stress over the good days. Thats so asinine. lol. Enjoy yourself and stay active, your sicky days will pass for good eventually.

Nothing wrong with enjoying the sunshine in between the stormy weather of pregnancy.
