I was given it for Fibromyalgia (under the same general umbrella as arthritis) I wasnt able to stomach it, it made me feel really sick so I stopped taking it - my theory is if it works dont question it just go with it :)

in general, celebrex is not any more effective than tylenol or ibuprofren. its anti-inlfammatory effects are overstated (and not all types of arthritis are inflammatory). however, it is effective as a pain killer like ibuprofren and tylenol and is easier on the stomach than ibuprofren. if you don't want to pay for the increased cost of celebrex, give tylenol a shot.

yes, but be careful. It is a Cox II inhibitor, which have been known, although not definitively, too cause increased risk or heart attack or stroke in certain people with specific risk factors... ask your doctor or pharmacist to be sure you want to take this medication, once you know the potential risks and benefits, and weight them in the balance.

I tried it ,but can't take it i am allergic to all arthritis meds. Any way to many side effects for athritis meds. My Dad had Kidney failure due to arthtitis medicine can't remember which he took.

it works! it is one of the good and effective oral pain relievers in the market. it has the benefit of not causing stomach ulcers unlike other pain relievers such as ibuprofen or mefenamic acid. and yes, it may cause a little little increase in risk of cardiac deaths (that's why its other drug relatives, valdecoxib and rofecoxib, were pulled out of the market recently)

yes celebrix does work good,however there is a law suit going on concerning celebrix and it has a lot of side effects.I don,t believe i would take it

Its evry good really, 200mg twice a day but becarefoul, u mustnt have coronary disease
