I am referring to the tournament that is Euro 2008 and such NOT the club tournaments.

FRANCE has won the UEFA European Championship twice in 1984 & 2000 while ITALY has won only once in 1968. ironically, both teams won the UEFA European Championship at home & FRANCE added the second championship when the 2000 tournament was hosted jointly by BELGIUM & NETHERLANDS. they beat ITALY 2-1 on golden goal.

The european championship is not important at all, just a kermesse for sponsors and media.
The World Cup is much more important because involves teams such as brazil argentina and many others.
France, Sepp Blatter and Platini cant pay the refs and do all their monkey business

In 2000 the French beat the Italians in the finals, because they paid the refs, cheated, bribed, took dives and the Italians were too dishonourable to headbutt them.
