a few months ago i found a lump under my right arm pit and its not on the other side! its sort or tough but when i push on it it has a little pain! it seems to be getting bigger! what could it be and what can i do about it?? please help

it could probably be just a benign mass- a sebaceous cyst which grew in a sebaceous gland of your armpit over the past months. this mass is almost always painless but it may become infected and exhibit some tenderness. another differential may be just a lipoma, a collection of fat underyour skin or a lymph node. cure for these masses is excision/removal by a doctor under local anesthesia.
you may also need to consider if the lump is somewhere need the upperpart of your breast as it may signal some sort of breast concern.
have it seen by a doctor to be sure.

This is called a Lymph node. It is one of the bodies main defenses against infection. If you have had this problem for this long I would be concerned. See a doctor soon! Yesterday ! This could be dangerous!

Well I dont know if you shave or not but if you dont it could possibly be a pulled hair that is acting infected.. not in a way that you need to treat it but that is just got pulled and its a reaction to it is a swelling knod. Its happened to me when I was young and didnt shave alot.

It could be an inf lammed sweat glad, or a harmless lipoma, a fatty mass. Go see your doctor to be sure... not something you want to foll around with!

Don't panic first, it could just be an affected gland, Go see your physician. my mom gets them all the time under her arms.
