If you shot an arrow into space in an area with no gravitation influence it would go forever. If you shot an arrow in space in our solar system you would have to find a way to propel it faster than the gravitational forces to keep it going forever. The 2 voyager space craft were both propelled by using the gas planet giants to accelerate them faster than the suns gravitational pull so they will both leave our solar system to travel forever til they encounter another gravity source

It depends on how strong the force was which shot the arrow, I think a arrows would get half way around a planet before it would be destroyed by the force of gravity near the planet

The object will stay in motion until acted upon an outside force.

I.E. Forever until any of the things that the people before me have said. Planets, Gravity, Meteors, Astroids, Black Holes, Space Trash

The arrow could continue for infinity, but there are the planets and other things influence its fligh. All planets produce a gravitational pull, which could change its direction, then there are comets / asteriods we do not know of all of them so it could hit one of those. But at the moment you compare it with the voyager project, voyager 1 is the furthest man made object from the sun at 9.3 billion miles away

Newtons first law. Since there is no friction,gravity, the object will continue to move in that exact direction, and speed forever, until it hits something, or a force pushes it somewhere else.

It'd go until it collided with something, and then would probably keep going in a different direction and reduced speed unless the object is large enough to distort space-time (gravity) and pull it in.

It will just keep on going at the same speed and direction until it goes past something and changes direction from the gravity, or runs into something.

That kinda depends on the direction in which you shot it and how fast it was going.

But, in reality, it will go 'forever' or until it gets captured in some gravity well.

Well theoretically it would just keep going and going forever - possibly even building up speed as it goes.

Basically it will carry on until it eventually hits something...
