What cell phone company are you with ? It is illegal for them to give anyone access to your records unless this particular email address is on your file. You can take and I would suggest you do take legal action against the cell phone company. How did you find out about this? Try contacting Yahoo Administrator to see if they can help.

well i'm no expert on 'pre-texting' and obtaining records to track users; but, it should NOT be possible with any of the major cellular companies to obtain information on a person without submitting a phone # and name NOT just an "email addy".

so either you are fishing, erroneous, or someone *perhaps* in law enforcement (though unlikely) did lawfully have reason to access that information and the cellular company cannot release proper information to you. perhaps part of some investigation like if your phone *for some reason* phoned a # that is being watched/has been flagged in a govt security database then they probably have 'cause' to obtain and investigate in the guise of fighting terrorism and if that is the case you *WILL NOT* be able to find out much more.

although if you work at HP all bets are off at this point *sigh*

the other possibility is if you are in a relationship then it could be the person (or someone very close to them who has access to most of the same info they do) you are in a relationship with is checking-up on you [lack of trust issue]

generally in order to check cell records online these days all u need usually is ss#, main cell # for the acct ( in case of multiple phones there is usually one that is considered the primary), and possibly one security answer (pet name, maiden name, school etc)

my g/f or myself or her bro or mom [4 phones on the plan] can go check the detailed bill online and for cingular the detailed bill has every # called, text message sent etc....

yahoo will NOT be helpful to you unless forced by law enforcement OR you can prove you are writerxcore [which doesnt sound like the case]. so behave, change any security answers and fly the straight and narrow and you have no worries

If someone scammed the phone company into releasing your records, it's not likely that they used a traceable e-mail address. You should consider filing suit against your cell phone carrier for releasing your records. Contact an attorney.

The only thing I can think to do is to contact the police. If your phone records have been accesed illegally they are the ones who would be able to find out who. or what accessed your information. Though I suspect if you hassle the phone company enough they might be able to narrow it down. As the police would have to go through them as well to track who accessed your info
