No advice in Yahoo Answers should replace the medical advice you will receive from your doctor.
Answer: You CANNOT get your period when you are pregnant, however, in early pregnancy, you can sometimes have some light bleeding which some mistake for their period. Vaginal bleeding is a common problem in early pregnancy, complicating 20-30% of all pregnancies...including myself!
I would advise you that with the other symptoms you are experiencing, a home test may be in order just to put your mind at ease right now.

Is this the first time you have been concerned in this way? If you are not pregnant, than make sure you take precautions that there is not a next time you feel scared, unless you want to be pregnant. Having a child is an experience that is a Blessing and will make you grow beyond anything you ever thought you could be.

get a digital pregnancy test to see-I knew I was pregnant before I ever missed a period-I knew exactly the time for conception had been awfully close. I was 10 days pregnant when I took A home pregnancy test.

I'm assuming you've had sex then- so yes you could be pregnant. No birth control is fool proof and there are ladies who have periods on time every time for the whole 9 months.

Well you could be. Anytime a person has sex whether they use protection or it be there time of the month or even birth control you always stand the chance of getting pregnant. Why not just get a test.

Its a possibilty you might have to face. I would suggest getting a home pregnancy test and going from there. If it comes out possitive you should see a doctor to be sure.
