Since I got one answer (which was PC-related) to my lost information retrieval question, I asked the same question to the Apple Forums. One person said there's a problem with the HD directory and suggested getting Disk Warrior to retrieve what's lost from yesterday. Would you recommend it? It's $80. Download or buy CD? Has it worked for you? I need to know. I'm going to ask my Apple Pro Care Personal Training Instructor about the problem on Wednesday, and see if he can help, before I can buy it at the Apple Store that day too.

I have a Macintosh Imac computer. No PC or Windows-related information please. It's not helpful to me.

Disk Warrior will help you find your files if your hard drive is not too sick.

I highly recommend Disk Rescue II to recover your files. It will find individual files.

It has been a "Godsend" to many in the past. Best of luck.
