Captleemo is close, but wide enough of the mark that he needs to examine the situation a little more.

The media has you convinced that we are a two party system, you believe it and act like it is true, and that makes it appear to be true. The possibility of third party alternatives almost never gets discussed, and third party alternatives don't get more than a sentence in a page of discussion of election choices.

They choose to cover "news" when it hurts the one of the two they want to get rid of, like Tom Foley's email to a male page, but they overlook things their friends do, like Gerry Studds and Barney Frank actually having sex with pages, and they obfuscate the truth when it can't be denied, such as with Bill Clinton's impeachment for Perjury being presented as being "just about sex".

Voters don't give politicians their jobs. For the most part, the media does.

The president is not an outlaw. If you haven't noticed both the democrats and republicans are pushing for this massive immigration against the will of the people. What are we to do about it ? What really galvanized the American people is when we saw these huge protests with these people waving the Mexican flag. I don't know about you but that infuriated me. The politicians from both parties better wake up and realize that we are the ones that give them their jobs and we are the ones that can take them away. Contact your legislators and demand that they uphold our laws and make sure you vote. Believe me when enough people voice their opinions they will sit up and take notice.
