many times it's because the mother tells her to. the daughter wants to be lesbian but her mom won't let her live that way and they still live in the same house together.

The daughter needs to move out and start living her own life. The mother is the problem!

Mom is from the old school, so being a lesbian, to her is unacceptable, this is her way of controlling the situation. Their is nothing wrong with sleeping with your mom. only people who have dirty minds, would think that. her mom would never accept the fact her daughter is a lesbian. also it is nothing wrong with her still living at home.

Something abnormal here. Yes it is unusual, much as I love my mama for being my mother-as long as there is another bedroom,a sofa, or a space on the floor to toss a sleeping bag, I would sleep there...unless there is a hidden secret behind the closed door.

it all depends.
does this woman have a disability, that she HAS TO do what mommy says?
wants to be a lesbian, people act like it's a need, when really it's a choice.
living with mom & sleeping in the same bed w/her isn't the problem. why is it bothering you so much.

That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard - the mom tells her to...she's 45!!! Why doesn't she move out...say no...something?!?! You can't make someone NOT be lesbian! You've gotta be joking!

I think this is sick. the mother has issues and has warped her daughters mind into believing she has to do anything the mother tells her.
