By stating you don't want to sell your own stuff, I take it you mean your own personal possessions. However, you could buy a job lot of items whole sale and start with that. You should go for something cheap first of all so that you can learn the ins and outs of ebaying and build yourself up a postive reputation and feedback score, then perhaps go onto something more costly / profitmaking. You don't need your own website to do this and you don't have to buy a business from someone else - you need to establish your own.
You can sell on ebay for someone else as a trading assistant and you take a cut of the profit, but to do this you have to have sold items previously and proven your reputation. This scheme is not without its risks however, and you could end up selling something fraudulently or being conned, as I know people this has happened to.

As a suggestion see if your friends/neighbours/skips locally have anything useful to sell on ebay. You make the buyer pay for the postage but don't get greedy with this as you will end up with a reputation for cheating on the mailing costs. Always promise to find out the exact postage once you know the destination of the item and its weight etc. Start small and build slowly. You can do this with say just a few video's or CD's. Put the money aside and don't spend it..you have to be disciplined on that or you will find hte cash dissolve. The next item you sell will increase your 'kitty'. Go to boot sales and buy cheap and sell at a profit. Check out what is being sold mostly on eBay first...and avoid if possible as the competition for you will be harder to beat. Go for stuff that people always want like cute ormanents. Collectibles like Pez, starwars, mcD's etc. After you have built up a kitty you can then expand into newer items, anything that takes your fancy and you can buy at a low rate and sell on at profit. STEER clear of copying CD's, music or movies as the copyright theft penalties just aren't worth it!!
eBay have a huge selection of forums and instruction sites for you to build your business from nothing.......check out the link below and search for anything you don't understand, ask lots of questions and research what is needed not what you fancy.
Good luck!
P.S. Oh and definitely DO NOT buy a business on there! They are dodgy and you will end up losing money very fast.

The easiest way to make money is to make up a business idea and sell it on Ebay. Whatever you do, don't buy one....that's giving your money away to someone who asked this question a month ago.

the easiest most profitable way is to buy in bulk at a reasonable cost, then sell individually at a profit.
