Right, I went and looked at the original question you asked.

You probably have a broken keyboard controller on your computer's motherboard.

The easiest fix is to buy a USB keyboard.
These plug into one of your USB ports instead of the PS/2 keyboard port which is usually coloured purple.

You can buy a USB keyboard at any computer shop, they are not expensive.

Try this:

Go to Mycomputer (click start)
Right click - properties.
click the Hardware tab
Click device manager.
Find keyboard.
Click the plug button.
Click the keyboard and reinstall the driver
if that fails uninstall it and reinstall.
If you can't reinstall - reboot under XP - it automatically reinstalls.
Do the same thing for anything else that fails to work - like a USB2 port.

Look at my website for some interesting stuff - click the links at the top of the page - there are about 12 pages. Tiny site at 15 Mb - but I've packed a bit of stuff in! lol Google video is good. Click the ads - and if you need more help me email is at the bottom of the page.

Is it a usb keyboard or PS/2? It seems unlikely that many keyboards went bad in 3 weeks.

It may be the port that the keyboard plugs into.

is somthing getting spilled on them, or are they getting dropped or beat around. they make protective covers for them if they are used in an environment where they are prone to get wet or dirty.

if none of that is happening sounds like there may be a problem with the port on the computer. if it is the PS2 style (small round plug) try a USB keyboard. if its a USB keyboard try a PS2 style.

Try the keyboards in another PC if you can, it could be your motherboard going wrong... check theres no dirt in the keyboard plug (try switching the keyboard and mouse plugs and see if it works any better)

Either the keyboards you are buying are of inferior quality (which I doubt). you are pressing down too hard on the keys or you have an evil little mouse who is eating something in the keyboards???

stop using a hammer to hit the keys, that saved me going through 20 keyboards per month

test your all keyboard on other system if they work well there then there is not fault in your keyboard.
see that the cable which connects your keyboard port to mother board is properly connected(After removing all power supply)

Hope that this will solve your problem.
