How about "Gitmo"... Guantanamo Bay, in Cuba? A US colony with detained terrorsts?

I know that currently Gibraltar, Guam, Cook Islands, America Samoa, French Polynesia are colonies. Possibly Puerto Rico can be considered a colony. Hope this helps!

Here's a sampling. The lines of what is a colony and what isn't are fuzzy now. Some are sort of a cross between a colony and an overseas part of the mother country.
