To be honest - it seems like they purposefully try make themselves ugly... or they are worse before they turn into the goths so they think to themselves they should try justify their ugliness and make it look like they've made themselves ugly!

goths aren't all ugly for instance you could say the same thing about chav's rockers,emos ,skaters,punks metallers anybody
just because they have a diffrent style to yours doesnt mean anything perhaps you only notice the ugly ones and not the good lookin ones.or maybe the places you go have the ugly ones.besides lots of people have their own opinions of what is good looking and not.some of the best looking people on the planet are goths.people who say that they dress like that to make them look like they are ugly on purpose are stupid neds

the secret of beauty lies with-in a person and if you can't see that then its a hopless case.I'm sure there is some one on this earth who has slagged you off about your looks without you even knowing just remember that before you air a question such as this one and perhaps you will think twice.(you could fall inlove with a goth some day).

I do not agree..... I think that although i will admit i do not like the clothes that they wear to label the people as ugly is not nice or true. Beauty is with the eyes of the beholder. I went to college to learn electronics and in my class was not only a female... but a goth....i was the only one who talked to her, the others took the mickey at her for being a female in electronics and for being a goth.
If some of those other guys actually took the tI'me to get to know her than im sure that they would have liked her.

Don,t be silly why make daft statement have you seen entirely every singlegoth in the world. Anyway Sophie Webster is very pretty and lookes just as pretty when she was amde to look like a Goth.

That's why they are Goth's - to cover up their - what they perceive to be bad looks - by making themselves even more grotesque looking... But - my Mrs was a Goth when she was young ... and she is a Stunner..Now .. it just a Ugly faze they go through,,.

They're not ugly in the slightest...some of the cutest girls I've ever met have been goths.
Its a style...just because you don't like it doesn't mean you have to insult those that do. Grow up.
