Most news groups do what is called " selective reporting". They tell just enough to sell news and keep people watching. Sometimes they do "alter or mislead" people into believing one thing which means another.
It is well known that the media are very liberal and like the liberals when they are in office. I guess it makes them feel superior or something, but the media always puts a spin on things the sell news.
Look at the tabloids at the grocery store!! All made up, all lies and twisted and for sale, people buy that stuff. Same thing with the evening news. Most times, common sense works better than what they tell you, or don't tell you.

Isn't that one of the stations that reported Bush winning the first election before the polls actually closed, and repeated it while the counting was going on? trust your news!
n Lets face facts, if he had any defense he would have used it. If he resigns it hopefully gets washed away and they don't have to defend a possible pederast.

Simple. The 1st report was what ABC said happened.
The 2nd report was probably what actually happened.....You see, the media does not report news anymore, they "create" news according to their own bias.

After the "Path to 911", I don't think I could ever trust ABC as an honest news source.

I like most of your questions, and support most of your political views. But the man wouldn't even defend himself, and he probably cost us the House. He should have stuck it out and fulfilled his obligations as a Representative. No one expects politicians to be perfect; in fact by now we all expect them to be bribe-taking sex-crazed drunken illuminati on steroids.
He should not have resigned. That will cost us dearly as soon as Nanci Pelosi becomes speaker of the House of Representatives of the United States of America, the voice of the people, and third in line for the Presidency.
I shudder in horror.
