A trick question as the Cilla Black/ Dionne Warwick song did not feature in the film- it was merely inspired by the film. It was written by Bacharach and David (always important to undertsand that the songwriters are the epople who create these hits first!)

My brother got the DVD for Christmas of the nineteen sixties version and on the credits Cher is singing the main them to Alfie.

I'm afraid that your other respondents are right - it was Cilla Black - real name - Priscilla White - and a very good friend of The Beatles at the time. I believe that she also made her debut in 'The Cavern'
