It helps the men to feel younger and the men can excape reality and live in a fantasy world. I figure they must think that they have only one life and if they can get a younger, maybe she can be a nursemaid to him as he ages. She will be young enough to chase after a little one all the time. Finally, they can blow off the responsibilities that go along with being older and hide behind the younger person. I agree it does make those old geezers stand out more (and not n a good way).

Because they want desperately to be young again, and there are all these young, pert, jiggly, bouncy chicky-poos running around in short, tight, low-cut, barely there under-garment-type "clothing" meant to attract the attention of any and all males. The unfortunate thing is that all these little bits of clothing are not discriminating against the dirty old men of this world. In fact, they seem to be just the type of fodder that dirty old men feed off of.
If you don't like the attention, tuck it back in and save it for someone special.

Proof of our vitality. If we can get one we have accomplished something. Even in the bible the children born later in a man's life are valued more because they show a man's vitality even when he is gray.
But don't put off the "Age goggles". When I was 18 the thought of having sex with a 40 year old made me throw up. Now I beg a 40 year old to have sex with me every day.

It's not just older men that like younger women, young guys do too. When you reach 40, do you think you'll still find 21 year old men attractive? Will you have low self esteem if you do? Now as far as older men dating younger women, it takes two to tango, the woman could always say no.

No. Women burn out at a quite young age. By the time a woman reaches 40 she is shot and is better off in a nunnery. I think ALL women should be required to enter a convent at 40 and stop all the play acting. Let them do what they really feel like, which is to be a nun.
It's gotten so bad that if I even so much as look at my wife she goes into a panic attack and starts throwing Bibles at me. AEN

They are sick warped perverts. Report everyone you know,we see them captured or "wanted" on the news everyday.
Some young people are murdered, raped tortured for years by these sicko's.
When you know of someone lurking around underage people, report them to your local sheriff & police department...or wait until the next episode of 20/20 comes on tv & they'll get busted there.

It's biological. They're healthier, more fertile, more apt to live a longer time and be able to take care of the child.
Don't bring self-esteem into this. Females are the ones who tend to have issues with self-esteem in general, not horny old men.

No, it has nothing to do with self esteem and everything to do with our animal instincts. Just as in the animal kingdom, females choose males based on who is the strongest, the males choose the most fertile and healthy females to bear their offspring. In this case teen to 20 somethings.

In their mind they remember the rush of their first encounters and these first encounters were usually with girls that age. They are trying to re-experience that feeling.
That coupled with the fact that it really boosts their ego when they actually get a girl that age...even tho they probably realize in the back of their mind that it's their money she really wants..they delude theirselves into thinking they are once again the studs of the world.
