AOL is majority owned by Time Warner which is also the parent company of CNN. Some of biggest individual shareholders of Time Warner are Ted Turner, founder of CNN and Carl Icahn. AOL is bad news now after its ex-chairman, conman Steve Case screwed Time Warner badly in their merger.
