First apply for a daycare license. The best way to get people interested is through word of mouth so be sure you let all your friends and acquaintances know to spread the word. Try putting fliers out at the store, (the usually have a wall space for ads), try the library and also the newspaper. Check to see if there are any on line sites local to your area where you can put up an ad too. Good luck!

Check your local licensing regulations. Depending on how many kids you wish to watch you may not need any certifications. First go to the website below and look for the link to individual states licensing and regulations. Then you might want to check out some other ads on starting a daycare center. Good Luck!

You could go to local fairs, and bazaars, with flyers and such. Lots of churches are have Fall festivals this time of year, see if they will let you set up a booth. Also. if there is an Early Learning Coalition, or something similar, registar with them.

You need to get licenced first and all that jazz. If you have done all that, I suggest putting some signs in some places they would allow like churches etc.
