because like madonna she has constantly reinvented herself, took risks even though some of them backfired in her face, and because back in the PWL days, pete waterman and his record company placed more focus and attention on making her the main star as opposed to jason. plus, she has had more top ten hits in comparison and is viewed by many as being more marketable. as for jason donovan, well, he has had a few hit records under his belt but to most, people they would say he lacked substance and longevity to have a career as successful and popular as kylie

Because Jason Donovan turned into a junkie and was inhaling more dust up his hooter than a dyson.
Meanwhile Kylie was releasing songs and making cash.

Jason Donovan! I just loved him and his songs when I was younger... such a pity that he did not continue making it into the world of fame the same way Kylie did.

She has more saleability than Jason Donovan ever did and she reinvented herself better than he did. Its all about marketing and publicity, Kylie got it in bucket loads, Donovan didn't.

I admire the fact that she never took criticism negatively. When people accused her of having a squeaky voice, she took vocal lessons to improve herself. I think Jason lacked that quality in him. It only indicates to all of us that we need to constantly work hard to improve before we can enjoy success.

Because she made it big out of Australia too.She became famous all over the world,especially after her comeback in???Cant remember exactly..Anyway,she is far more talented,took more risks,is beautiful and made all the right choices.
