a 50/50 mix of antifreeze/water is good to about 35 degrees below zero.

50/50 is always the best mixture in winter. I knew a missionary in Alaska and I asked him out of curiousity what mixture he had when he used antifreeze and he told me 50/50. He stated that if he used striaght antifreeze up there it would jell up. I sent you a website on antifreeze mixture up in alaska with I thought was interesting and informative.
