The next time I go in to work I tell them I can't work this day from now on. They say they will try get me so I wasn't working that day. The next time I go into work I ask them about it and they still haven't gotten it so I don't work that day. And the same thing will happen this week (not sleep for 2 1/2 days) if I don't get this figgerd out? What do I do? I'm not calling in sick again. And it really doesn't look think they will be figgering this out any time soon. What do I do what are my rights? Is there a paper I can have them sighn that I'm not resopsible for me acsions that day? Plz Help?

Welcome to the work a day world. first of all, you have to decide which is more important, school or work. Many jobs will try to work with you when you are going to school, but they ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR HOW LONG YOU GO TO SCHOOL!!!

If you went all that time without sleep, its on you. It would be nice if the job would work with you closer, but there is no law that says they have too.

Labor board would laugh at you so, don't waste their time. Talk with you boss, see what you can work out, and it it don't work out, give your notice and leave in good graces. Don't burn any bridges behind you, cause one day, you may have to try to travel that road again.

when you signed on with the employer you were agreeing to be available to work productively on a schedule of some sort. If you are unable to coordinate your work and school responsibilities you'll have to alter one or the other, quit the job or change the school schedule.

Hey your personal problems are not your employer’s problems. Your employer has a business to run. If the schedule they provide does not meet your personal requirements, change jobs.
