i know i have a lot of them...i am on level 6 after all....but i couldn't tell you how many i have......

and now to answer my own question....no they don't matter at all and i look at my points every time i have a question removed....to see if it really made a difference.....

I did when I was on level 6 cuz i wanted to get to 7 but the yahoos suspended me right before i got there, so now I pay no attention whatsoever cuz it is all fleeting. lol.

No I don't pay attention to points. What I do pay attention to is my "best answer percentage." I think if more people would do this it would make Y! A a much better place. A lot of points just means you have a lot of time on your hands. A high "best answers percentage" means you take the time to give concise, correct answers.

No.... I did a little bit when I was on level 1 because it limits you a lot.
I dont look at my points much... I think I need like 3000 to get to level 6.... so that will take forever...

Yes I"m a point checker. I'm on level 4 and I'm trying to make it to level 5. I even try to calculate how many days it'll take me to get to the next level.

I don't pay much attention unless I've just leveled - don't want to ask a question and then bump myself back down - but other than that, I really don't pay attention. Pointless points.....

I don't seem to notice them until I'm about 300 or so away from the next level..I'm almost their now..

I have 2452 points right now...fixing to get 2454 after I'm done with this question...I'll sure be glad to get out of level 3...LOL
