I have a Graco ( full-size stroller). I love it. I've tried slings ( Bjorn, infantino...) I think they're terribly uncomfortable. I'd rather just carry my baby than revert back to those.

There are so many travel systems on the market right now. First it depends on the company. Then it depends on the price. How much can u afford to spend. Three do u really need a travel system or can u purchase a lightweight stroller and buy the car sear seperate. I am 34 weeks and i was going to purchase a travel sysytem. I am going to be walking and taking the trains until i get a car. I decided against a travel system because the stroller is too heavy. I instead purchased a light weight stroller with the car seat to match. The price even came out to be a little cheaper then buying a travel system.

We had a graco quattro tour deluxe, which was a wonderful safe, quality travel system. However..... although it was great in so many ways i would have to say I did regret buying such a bulky pram. It was difficult to fit it the car, was heavy, took up alot of space in the house. Aslo consider if you have to have ceasarean....I did and it was a nightmare as it was all so heavy . Maybe check out those aluminum frame ones that the car seat fits directly into, and then you put the buggy seat in at a later stage.I think thats the type i would have gone for in hindsight. Or maybe just go straight for a decent buggy, Although it is a huge bonus being able to put sleeping baby straight from car into pram whilst still in car seat.

Graco has great quality and nice variety. Be sure that the car seat/carrier has a comfortable handle and grip. For the stroller you might want one that can be layed back for the baby, if not fully but partially. Much more comfortable for the little one. Most travel systems are great, depending on your budget. It's nice to have the carrier click into the stroller so if the baby falls asleep in the car, you can clip them in the stroller and keep on struttin without disturbing baby.

I think its all a matter of how much you want to spend and personal choice. I didn't want to spend a lot but wanted something that didn't look cheap, was easy to use, as I would be taking babies to grandparents everyday, whilst I went to work and they needed something non too complicated (Old Folks with gadgets!) So for both babies I had Graco travel systems. Lasted well and easy to use. I suggest you look up consumer tests, heres a site.

Also 'which' and Mother and baby mags are good for comparison and consumer tests. But otherwise go to a few shops have a look and try out a few.

I posted the same question and I have had alot of feedback on the Graco strollers. Most people seem to like the Graco Quatro. I went to babies r us and looked at it and it seemed to fit all my needs. Your best bet is to go to the store and test some of the travel systems out.

The Trenton Travel System - By Mothercare!

I like my Baby Trend Travel system. The only problem that I have with it is the weight of the infant seat, because they put weight in the bottom of the seat. This is also a good thing too. Its one of the safer infants seats out there I think, because it is the lock latch system.

the mothercare urban detour is brilliant all though not practical if you have a small car. The travel system comes with rain cover, nappy bag, car seat, cosytoes, car seat apron, 3 wheeler pushchair and pump.
