I've heard everything from daily to quarterly. I want to know, how often is it, REALLY? AND, is it often enough for you?

Pretty solid research indicates that, on the average, about 2-3 times a week. Of course, it can vary greatly from couple to couple. And on a personal basis, I would note that I think quality is far more important than quantity (frequency).

It changes. Depending on who you are. Starts with the EVERY day sometimes quite a few times a day and just goes down from there. I know couples that don't have sex at all. I also know some that have sex every day. My husband and I are 3-4 times a week right now and its been that way for a bit. I'm sure it will change when the baby comes though.

Well i am the wrong one to answer this Question. I think that married people should do as often as they want. In my case i have not had sex with my husband in a long time. Things are not good for us right now and have not been for sometime.
To answer I think that atleast once a week is a good choice.

It depends because no 2 couples are the same and everyones sex drive is different,My husband and I we have sex about 2 times a week,but my best friend and her husband have sex about 5 times a week.So there is not going to be an exact answer.I think if the romance is still alive I think the sex after marrige is still alive.Alot of men and women once married they forget the things they did when they first met and while dating to make the partner fall in love with them.alot of them have the thinking that now I have him/her and they don't need to continue trying to sweep the husband/wife off his/her feet.And that's just wrong.Keep the romance alive.

Three and four time a week for the first few years.
After a while it turns into two or three times a month.
I'm married 25 years and we are down to the two or three a month. I am not that happy about the frequency but it is good when we do because we really mean it when we finally do it.

I am an extreme case (almost Dr. Phil guest type) but I would say Quarterly would be a good year. I have gone 15 months and 2 years before.

Once every 2-3 month's!!!! This really sucks!!! I am 35 and she is 34 , to her it's dirty or something??? Before we got married it was anytime, anywhere. I once filled out a wish list, and put I want to get laid daily!!! Thinking that this wish would come true, I finally woke up, and realized that I had fallen down ,and bumped my damn head!!! The answer to your question is , there is no such thing as often when it comes to sex!!! You just take it when it comes your way. WHAM,BAM, AND WHAT ARE YOU STILL DOING HERE!! HA!

Loads when we first got married (about 5 or 6 times a week, every week) then when the kids came along almost none (once or twice every few months) and now it's about 2 or 3 times a week. We've been married 8 years.
