Like any good General, he gets into the mind of his enemy to understand him better:
"I couldn't imagine somebody like Osama bin Laden understanding the joy of Hanukkah." -George W. Bush, at a White House Menorah lighting ceremony, Washington, D.C., Dec. 10, 2001

He doesn't let history get in the way of creating good diplomatic relations:
"My trip to Asia begins here in Japan for an important reason. It begins here because for a century and a half now, America and Japan have formed one of the great and enduring alliances of modern times. From that alliance has come an era of peace in the Pacific." -George W. Bush, who apparently forgot about a little something called World War II, Tokyo, Feb. 18, 2002

He make us feel this is the land of opportunity, anyone who flunked Maths at High School can become President:
"We've tripled the amount of money - I believe it's from $50 million up to $195 million available."- George W. Bush, Lima, Peru, March 23, 2002

Kept Kerry out of office, Freed Iraq from a murderous dictator (but I know basher like you love saddam), better economy, Stocks are up, Has given the housekeeping industry a boost with illegals,
In seriousness:
1:The Bush Doctrine. Right after 9/11, bush established a clear and public policy that any nation that harbors or aids terrorists will be held accountable for the actions of the terrorists. It is likely that this indeed created a decent deterrent effect, preventing nations from sharing nuclear, biological or chemical weapon technology. This is very different from the crappy policy of pre-emtive war.
2. The "removal" of the Taleban from Afganistan. Now, bush *has* managed to bungle this in the later phases, but the initial plan and excecution was quite good, multinational and successful. Without the catastrophic war in Iraq, it may have been entirely a success. In truth, the battle plan and international deals were largely the product of the Clinton adminstration, so I am not sure if bush should get credit...

There were none - are none - and never will be any. He's had his opportunity to do something and blew it. As President, he is the most inept, do-nothing that has ever occupied the Oval Office and is a disgrace to the office and to this country.

DRIVEN THE LEFT ABSOLUTELY INTO ASYLUM- READY-STATE AFTER MAKING MONKEYS OF THE LOT.

PROPELLED THE ECONOMY TO UNPRECEDENTED NEW HEIGHTS.

PROVIDED STERN, STEELY- EYED LEADERSHIP TO THE WORLD, among a crowd of two-bit politicians bereft of vision.

Darn good shootin' in my book, and all done with a smile.

But I do think the stressis a killer, no question. It has visibly aged the man.

Sigh, to each his own I guess.

tyco Enron and world com were under Clinton and prosecuted under Bush. The last six years have seen many challenges that had to be faced. we were at war with an enemy and did not know it. George Bush took the fight to them instead of letting the terrorist get away with murder. His biggest achievement is putting up with the politics of the left in this country. They care more about their power and protecting our enemy then they care about our country. For the person who was able to super size your meal with your tax cut try making more money then you to can pay more taxes. Plus that stuff will kill you.
